Where do SuperEnalotto draws take place?
SuperEnalotto draws take place in Rome.
Can you watch the SuperEnalotto draw live on TV?
SuperEnalotto draws are not shown on TV, but you can watch the recorded event online from 20:20 CET every Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
What time do ticket sales close?
Ticket sales close at 19:30 CET, half an hour before the draw, then reopen for the next draw shortly after. You are advised to purchase your tickets in good time to avoid disappointment.
How much does it cost to play SuperEnalotto?
Each SuperEnalotto entry costs €1. You can also add a SuperStar number to your entry which costs an additional €0.50, giving you more chances to win and increasing prizes paid out.
What is SuperStar?
SuperStar is an extra number that is drawn from a separate ball machine containing 90 numbers. It costs an additional €0.50 per entry, giving you more chances to win and increasing prizes paid out. Visit the SuperStar page for more information.
Can I choose the same number as a main number and a SuperStar number?
Yes, because the SuperStar is drawn from a separate set of balls from the main set of balls, it is possible play the same number as both a main number and SuperStar number.
What is a SuperBonus?
If you match all six main numbers and the SuperStar, you receive the SuperEnalotto jackpot plus a €2 million bonus, known as the ‘SuperBonus’. You can also win the SuperBonus if you match five main numbers, the Jolly and the SuperStar, receiving the Match 5 + SuperStar prize plus a €1 million bonus. The Match 6 + SuperStar SuperBonus was won most recently on Thursday 27th October 2016, when a player from Vibo Valentia in Calabria overcame odds of 1 in 56 billion to win a total of €165.5 million; the €163.5 million jackpot and the €2 million bonus. What is the Jolly?
Once six main numbers have been drawn from the ball machine, an additional number is drawn from the remaining 84 numbers; this bonus ball is known as the Jolly. The Jolly provides an extra chance to win a prize and does not require a supplementary fee when purchasing a ticket. You do not select a Jolly number when purchasing a ticket. What is Instant Win?
Instant Win (Vincite Immediate) is a supplementary game which provides the chance to win a prize when purchasing a SuperEnalotto ticket. A Magic Square (Quadrato Magico) is printed on each ticket containing four numbers, and if all four numbers are present in your chosen line, you win €25. If you are a winner, keep hold of your ticket until the main SuperEnalloto draw has taken place to see if you match any other prizes. Visit the Instant Win page for more information.
What is the SuperEnalotto Raffle?
The SuperEnalotto Raffle is held at various points in the year, offering a number of guaranteed prizes in specified draws. Anyone who plays SuperEnalotto and SuperStar on these occasions is also entered into the raffle draw, where all raffle prizes are guaranteed to be won on the night. When it comes to playing SuperEnalotto, Campania is the luckiest region. It has produced 18 jackpot winners in total, with Lazio in second place creating 16 jackpot winners and Emilia Romagna in third, producing 12 jackpot winners. When was the first SuperEnalotto draw?
The first SuperEnalotto draw took place on Wednesday 3rd December 1997, when it replaced Enalotto, a lottery that had been played for the previous four decades.
How do I win a prize in SuperEnalotto?
SuperEnalotto has a total of 15 prize tiers including Instant Win and SuperStar options, with overall odds of winning a prize approximately 1 in 16. Prizes can be won by matching one or more numbers, with the jackpot prize available to players matching all six main numbers. What is the biggest SuperEnalotto jackpot ever won?
The largest win in the history of SuperEnalotto was €371 million and came on Thursday 16th February 2023. It came after almost two years without a winner, and the jackpot was split between 90 players who teamed up to buy shares in a system entry. The previous record had been €209 million and came on Tuesday 13th August 2019. A single ticket, bought at the Bar Marino in Via Cavour 46, Lodi, in Lombardy, matched all the numbers. Does SuperEnalotto feature a jackpot limit or rollover limit?
SuperEnalotto does not have a jackpot limit or a limit on how many times the jackpot can roll over into the next draw, meaning the jackpot prize can continue to increase in size until someone correctly matches all six main numbers drawn.
What is the longest period without a jackpot winner?
The largest interval between SuperEnalotto jackpot winners lasted for 200 draws. It started after the jackpot was last won on Thursday 16th July 2015, then finished 67 weeks later when one ticket matched all six main numbers to win €165.5 million on Thursday 27th October 2016.
Is there a minimum SuperEnalotto jackpot?
SuperEnalotto has a reserve fund to ensure a minimum jackpot of €2 million. However, after a jackpot has been won, the jackpot for the following draw is usually a much larger amount.
What are the odds of winning SuperEnalotto?

Is there an age restriction on playing SuperEnalotto?
To play SuperEnalotto you must be at least 18 years old. Players who are below the minimum age will not be permitted to play or claim any prizes won.
